Angella Nabwowe

Angella is the Programs Manager at ISER. Angella is a development communication practitioner with over eight years experience in media, communication strategy design and implementation. Previously, Angella worked as Communications Advisor for the Refugee Law Project (RLP), School of Law- Makerere University. Prior to joining RLP, Angella worked as a News Editor at Simba Radio, a local Ugandan radio station.

She has participated in various high level trainings and meetings including the Uppsala University Top Level Seminar on Peace and Security (TOPS AFRICA), the Oxford University Summer School on Global Media Policy, Technology and New Themes in Media Regulation, the annual Highway Africa Conference for Journalists and Media Professionals at Rhodes University in South Africa, and the East African School of Refugee and Humanitarian Affairs at University of Dar es salaam. She holds a B.A. Mass Communication from Makerere University, and an M.A in Global Journalism from Orebro University in Sweden.
