Joseph Byomuhangyi

Joseph is the Program Officer of the Business and Human Rights Program at ISER. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the School of Law, Makerere University and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip.LP) from the Law Development Centre (LDC).

Joseph is a member of the Public Interest Law Clinic (PILAC) Alumni and the Network of Public Interest Lawyers (NETPIL). He has previously worked with The Human Rights Centre Uganda (HRCU) as Legal Intern and the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), as a Graduate Trainee in the Legal Department where he actively participated in the litigation and enforcement of regulations in the Communications sector. He also worked as a Legal Officer in the Compliance Department of Guaranty Trust Bank (U) Limited.

Joseph is passionate about economic and social rights and currently focused on Business and Human Rights.
