Expression of Interest – Consultancy on Elimination of Child Labour
(Apply before: December 1, 2024 5:00 pm)Child labour remains a significant barrier to realizing children’s rights including to education, health, and development across Sub-Saharan Africa. In Uganda, particularly in the agriculture and extractive sectors, child labour is prevalent, with many children subjected to hazardous work that deprives them of their childhood and education. The consultant will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive comparative study on strategies used in Sub-Saharan Africa including but not limited to Kenya, Rwanda, and Ghana to eliminate child labour and developing a policy brief based on the findings.
